Yesterday Thursday 18th December, Ibinabo tied the knot in the presence of her beautiful children and loving family. The traditional ceremony was a colourful celebration of love and the bride of the day stunned in two outfits.

Her groom Uche Egubka looked lovingly into her eyes.

Enugu State Government honours kenneth Okonkwo for pioneering Nollywood. In an elaborate event held at Okpara square, Enugu on the 16th of Dec, 2014, Gov Sullivan Chime honoured Barr Kenneth Okonkwo for his pioneering efforts in Living in Bondage which started Nollywood. He was given the award as the Enugu Born Pioneer Nollywood Actor 2014. Kenneth Okonkwo in accepting the award thanked God for His wisdom that inspired him to interpret the movie living in Bondage to the admiration of all even without any formal education in Theatre Arts. He thanked his fans for continued patronage and the Governor for the award. Other artistes equally honoured are Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwo, John Okafor, Zach Orji, Nkoli Nwa Nsukka, Nollywood Twins and so on....

Buhari comes first with more votes out of the 7214 votes.. ..Atiku had a total of 954 votes...Buhari's votes are still being counted but he is the clear winner ...

Surprisingly, Governor of Kano State ,Rabiu Kwankwaso  is likely 2nd place,Rochas Okorocha takes 4th places and the publisher of Leadership Newspapers Sam-Nda Isaiah's came in last with no more than 10 votes.

Nollywood icon, Barr Kenneth Okonkwo(Andy) vindicated as the PDP House of Reps primary election for Nsukka/ Igboeze South Federal Constituency was marred by irregularities and confusion. There were parallel congresses with different delegates lists. According to Kenneth Okonkwo, another reason why he boycotted the primary was the absence of an authentic delegates list. In his words "how can I participate in a primary election when nobody has furnished me with an authentic delegates list, I can only participate if the right thing is done." The PDP NWC should step in and cancel this purported primary and save Enugu PDP from self destruction.

Report coming in now states that Nollywood Actor Desmond Elliot has come out successful in the APC primaries.

According to Ladunliadi, Desmon will now represent the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Lagos State House of Assembly election in 2015.

It is said that there was a brief disorder as the result was read out but the actor’s success has been acknowlegded.

Desmond is one of Nollywood acts seeking political office ahead of 2015 general elections.

He had employed former footballer Nwankwo kanu to help him out..
